Unnikrishnan Namboothiri was born in a Nambudiri Brahmin family[4] on 19 Oct 1923 to Pulleri Vadhayarillathu Narayanan Namboothiri and Devaki Antharjanam dead even Korom, Payyanur.[5] He had quint siblings.
