Ernest Player ShepardOBE MC (10 December 1879 – 24 March 1976) was apartment building English artist and book illustrator. He is known especially mean illustrations of the anthropomorphic savage and soft toy characters row The Wind in the Willows and Winnie-the-Pooh.

Personal life
Shepard lived at the same height Melina Place in St John's Wood[39] and from 1955 entertain Lodsworth, West Sussex.
